Question: Does Jamie live or die at the end of the novel? We could be convinced that Jamie may have lived basing solely on the text and  we could make references to prove it. However, it would also seem highly unlikely that Jamie would survive and miraculously recovered from an illness that was judged to be fatal by all medical opinion. It is true that Landon does not say explicitly that she died, but the words that he uttered "I now believe, by the way, that miracles can happen", the miracle being Jamies survival? Could have Sparks deliberately left the ending intentionally ambiguous?

Reflect: God works in so many ways that people do not understand. A walk to remember brings an insight to what love really is and how to live life with it. The true meaning of loving someone with all of your heart is shown in this book. Today many teenagers tell one another, be it a boyfriend or a girlfriend, that they love one another. How do they really know if they love each other? The illustration of how Landon feels for Jamie shows how you feel  about someone when you truly love him or her.

Predict; When Jamie asked Landon to play the part of the father in the Christmas play; where she was also the cast as the angel. I predicted that the Landon would agree, though he was kind of reluctant at first. I have also predicted that the two would get along and would eventually fall for each other.

Connect: Our God loves all of us unconditionally. Even though we sin and we most of the time take his love and generosity for granted, where we only remember him during the days of our sorrows and we tend to ask help from him and yet when we feel happy we never remember to thank him from the blessings that he have showered upon us. Our God never seizes to love, guide and bless us.

In my life, I admit that I am a sinner. I have done a lot of things, displeasing things. I even seldom go to church and ask for forgiveness. I was ready if God would decide to punish me for my behavior, but he did not. Instead he had blessed me more, and realizing that I became more appreciative with him and to all the things he have done for me. I ask for forgiveness for all the things I have done. And I thank him every single day for giving me everything that I need. You only love truly when you are willing to sacrifice and understand and never seize to love that individual in whatever may come and happen.
